Granite Bowl visitors witnessed a high scoring, gridiron-get-together Saturday night during Elbert’s preseason scrimmage against Westside High School.

Jennelle Mattox McCannon, 95, of Carlton died Aug. 16. Funeral services were held Aug. 18 at Burts United Methodist Church and interment followed in the church cemetery.
